Kapustove pakory / Cabbage fritters

Uz mesiac nam predpoved pocasia slubuje dazd, ci burky a vzdy na "zajtra". Lenze "zajtra" akosi nikdy neprislo, a tak nam Oskar svieti o sto-sesto, kde tu sa prezenu barancekovia a my sa potime jak dvirka u chlivku. Zahrala som sa dnes na samana... a privolavam dazd pakorami, ktore si vzdy robievame, ked prsi. Tak drzte palce.

CO POTREBUJETE:

1 hrncek nadrobno nakrajanej kapusty / 1 cup of chopped cabbage
mensia hrst cerstvej koriandrovej vnate / handful of fresh coriander leaves
sol / salt

1/4 lyzicky mletej kurkumy / 1/4 tsp of termaric
1/3 lyzicky mleteho chilli korenia / 1/3tsp chilli powder
1/3 lyzicky rimskej rasce / 1/3tsp cumin (jeera)
niekolko nasekanych kesu orechov / few chopped cashew nuts

stipka prasku do peciva / pinch of baking powder
4 lyzice cicerovej muky (besan) / 4tbsp of chicpea flour (besan)
2 lyzice ryzovej muky / 2tbsp of rice flour
voda podla potreby / water
olej na vysmazanie (arasidovy alebo slnecnicovy) / oil for deep frying (peanut oil or sunflower oil)

AKO POSTUPOVAT:

Kapustu nakrajame nadrobno. Dame do misky, pridema koriandrovu vnat a sol a nechame 5 minut postat, aby kapusta pustila stavu. / Chop the cabbage. Place it in the bowl, add chopped coriander leaves and salt and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Potom pridame koreniny, nasekane kesu orechy a stipku prasku do peciva a premiesame. / Then add all the spices, chopped cashew nuts and pinch of baking powder, stir well.

Pridame oba druhy muky a premiesame. / Add rice flour and besan.

Vodu pridavame po troskach postupne a miesame, kym nevznikne husta zmes. Tuto zmes nechame pol hodiny pod cistou kuchynskou utierkou odpocivat. V panvici na vyprazanie poriadne rozohrejem olej. Musi byt vriaci, ked donho budeme davat kopky zmesi, inak sa vam to v tom oleji rozpadne. / Add water, little at the time and stir until you get thick batter. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Heat enough oil for deep frying in the pan. Oil has to be boiling.

Ked je olej poriadne horuci, lyzickou donho pustame kopky z pripravenej zmesi. Prazime ich na silnom ohni dohneda, z oboch stran. / When oil is hot enough start placing small lumps of the batter in it with the spoon. Deep fry them until brown.

Doplnenie dnesneho postu: vecer o 18.00 nam na 5 minut zaprsalo. Pakory zabrali :) Sice nic moc, ale aj nieco je fajn. A po dazdi bola duha....
