Cviklovy salat / Beetroot raita

Cviklovy salat (raita)



CO POTREBUJETE:

1 mensia cvikla / 1 smaller beetroot
Sol / salt
Mlete cierne korenie / ground black pepper
Susena mata (mozete pouzit aj cerstvu, nasekanu) / dry mint leaves or lemon balm leaves (you can use fresh chopped leaves too)
1 lyzicka stavy z citron / 1tsp of lemon juice
½ lyzice mletych mandli / 1/2tsp of ground almonds
2 lyzicky Dahi (bieleho nesladeneho jogurtu) / 2tsp of dahi (unsweetened yoghurt)

AKO POSTUPOVAT:

Cviklu uvarime do makka v tlakovom hrnci. / Cook the beetroot until tender.


Osupeme a nastruhame nahrubo. / Peel and grate it.

Pridame postupne sol, mlete cierne korenie.. / .. add salt and ground black pepper..


.. susenu matu.. / .. dry mint leaves..


.. stavu z citrona.. / .. lemon juice..

.. mlete mandle, ktore sme chvilku opekali na suchej panvici (kym pekne nezavonali).. /.. ground almonds, which you can dry roast on the tava before adding them into the salad.

.. a dobre premiesame. / .. and stir well.

Nechame vychladit a mozeme podavat ako salatovu prilohu. / Place the salad in the fridge, leave to cool and serve as salad or side dish.
